Please find below information with regard to your visit to Early Life Ultrasound Centre.

We have some special measures in place to limit the spread of the COVID-19 virus. These measures are there to protect you and staff.  Lets take care of each other...

IMPORTANT

Please could you NOT attend if you do feel unwell. We can easily reschedule your appointment when you are feeling better.

You will receive a "Covid risk assessment" via email before your appointment to confirm a few details with regard to symptoms and contacts.

Prior to your appointment we will send THREE documents that will need to be completed prior to your visit. 

1. A health agreement/ Covid risk assessment  form 
2. A consent form for you to consent to an examination
3. Your invoice for the remaining balance.

We would greatly appreciate it if you could complete these documents prior to your attendance to help us to minimise contact during your visit.

During your visit

It is important that you attend on time, so that we can ensure that people are not sharing the space and, so that we can clean down before each attendance.  We will ask you to sanitise your hands and you will be given a mask each to wear, unless you have your own. You may also be asked for your temperature to be taken using a non-contact infrared thermometer.

Who can attend with me?

Visitors are able to bring with them partners and up to FOUR Guests. 

The scan room is large enough to enable social distancing guidelines, in addition there are air sanitising machines and PPE available on request.

Please respect this, as we do not wish to disappoint but, if more people than specified are in attendance then, our staff  reserve the right to refuse entry and ask you return at another time, or ask extra guests to wait in the car.

 

What if I arrive early?

 If you arrive early please call to see if the clinic is clear and if not, please wait in your car until the time of your appointment. 

 

PPE

As soon as you arrive, you will be asked to use the sanitiser and masks will be given to you and your visitors on arrival if you do not have your own.

We have special UV air sanitisers in both the waiting area and scan room as well as the required ventilation 

 

Payments

Before you attend for your appointment, we will request payment via our online system to minimise any contact during your visit.
